Who am I?

I am a Swiss explorer. I was named National Geographic's Adventurer Of The Year and am humbled to be on Conde Nast Traveller's list of World's Most Influential Women Travelers (sharing that list with the likes of Dian Fossey, Angelina Jolie, Jane Goodall and Amelia Earhart!).I guess I am a true seeker. At the age of 6, I literally ran away from home because 'I was curious' (and my mum told me 'no' but I'll save that story for when we're together)!Since then, I've walked ALONE a distance that would circumnavigate the world!These journeys, including walking from Siberia to Australia, from Santiago, Chile to Machu Pichu and crossing the salt water crocodile infested Outback of Northern Australia give me "an interesting perspective".In this experience, I invite you to examine your own struggles around fear, endurance, solitude and connecting with nature both with me and through me...
